Chartered physiotherapists are governed by a professional body ;"The Chartered Society Of Physiotherapy." Members must adhere to strict rules of professional conduct in their management of clients. This is to ensure that high standards of professional practice are maintained.
All our staff are regularly updated with post graduate training courses, case conferencing and in-service training thus ensuring the highest possible standards of care. |

John Martin BSc(Hons),MCSP,SRP The Clinic is under the direction of John Martin, a chartered physiotherapist, with considerable experience in the management of all types of injury and rehabilitation.
John studied at the University of Ulster and graduated in 1988. He has many years experience working as a Senior Physiotherapist in the Outpatient and Rheumatology departments of the Royal Victoria Hospital.
John has been involved with injuries and competitors at all levels within the Sporting World. He has been Honorary Physiotherapist to both the Ulster and Irish Rugby Teams over a ten year period and has toured extensively in the capacity, including the Rugby World Cup in 1991 and 1995 and Ulster European Cup win in 1999. John is also involved in educational programmes for doctors, physiotherapists and coaches in aspects of prevention, management and rehabilitation of sports injuries. |

Sonia McCay BSc(Hons), MCSP, SRP Sonia is an associate in the practice. She graduated from Queen Margaret University College, Edinburgh in 1995, and spent several years working in the western General Hospital gaining valuable experience in a wide variety of specialties.
She acted as Physiotherapist for the Scottish Ladies Hockey Union from 1995 until 1998. Sonia also spent a year working in Australia where she gained further experience in Orthopedic and sports rehabilitation as a Senior Physiotherapist in a Sports Injury Clinic. |

Gillian Brown BSc (Hons), MCSP, SRP Gillian studied at the University of Ulster, graduating in 2000.
She has experience both in the Health Service and in Private Practice at Manchester City Football Clubs as a Physiotherapist in their Sports Injury Clinic.
On returning to Northern Ireland, Gillian has held various posts including, Senior Physiotherapist in Orthopedics at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald.
She will be well equipped to keep to the pace of a busy practice, as she recently won a number of middle distance events in the Ulster Athletics Championship and she holds medals in Irish Track and Cross-Country Running |

Cara Chandler BSc (Hons), MCSP, SRP Cara graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006. After working within the cardiac rehab, amputee rehab and outpatients department in the Victoria hospital Glasgow, she returned home to work in South Tyrone Hospital out patients department. Cara has focused on developing her Musculoskeletal skills and has trained with Sarah Key, the author and founder of the "Sarah Key technique" qualifying in both stages one and two of the "Back Master Classes". She uses the unique style of mobilising the spine, using her heel thus giving a more comfortable and dynamic treatment. Cara has also trained and qualified with the great Tai Chi instructor Paul Lam.
On a more personal level, she has been involved with horses from a young age, and has represented Northern Ireland competing in equine Tet-triathlon and eventing across the UK. |

Bronagh Morris M.Sc;MCSP,MAACP Bronagh graduated from Queen Margaret University Edinburgh in 2003. She has choosen to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and has worked as a senior physiotherapist in several out-patient departments of hospitals in Edinburgh.
Bronagh's experience includes treating the sports injuries of the University of Edinburgh rugby team.
She is currently undertaking a Masters in Manual Therapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in order to further her clinical skills. |
